Warm Things has the same high quality products as Scandia or any other high end retailer (department stores carry substandard down products across the board), but Warm Things has great pricing, about a third of what you would pay for this quality anywhere else. If you buy the right comforter, it will last your lifetime. They actually revive with washing, although it might effect any warrantee. Warm Things does not have costly retail space to pass on to you in the form of jacked-up pricing, and their sales happen seasonally, when the deals get even better. With good down, you do not need the warmest, heaviest weight comforter. It's all about loft (fill-power) and region (bigger birds are in colder climates, like Hungary). However when I received their Supremium comforter it had a noticeable odor, which became so strong when I spread it out on my bed that I had to return it! But Warm Things says they won't accept my return because I removed the tag! It is so fluffy and soft. This only problem I have, is that the size is a little smaller than stated, which is why I took one star away. I have black furniture and gray walls, this is the only white in the room. I put a good quality white duvet on it and have 4 regular, and two euro pillows on the bed. It looks like a room that you see in magazines now! I only use down comforters and was very afraid of spending this much, but I am not sorry! |
