The colors are true to what they show online, except that I think the charcoal gray looks more like a dark olive. I bought the matching 16x16 pillow, and it also looks more olive than charcoal gray. I don't mind though, because all the rest of the colors are true to color, and I like the color combo. The underside of the comforter is soft, but the striped side has quite a bit of texture. I wouldn't call it rough, but it's kind of a bumpy yarn-y feel. In keeping with that, there are spots of "errors" (I can't think of the proper term) that is in keeping with natural cotton fibers being woven together. Overall, I think it's great because I got this all on sale for $120,including the two 16x16 decorative pillows!Once I break it in, I'll update and let you know how warm it is. |
