I definitely prefer down pillows. Unlike man-made ones, down or feather/down pillows come with a slight scent. To irradicate that, I hang my new ones outside for several days, occasionally squeezing them to circulate air thru. With these pillows, I smelled the scent the first night, after that, they didn't smell at all. I suggest down pillows over feather/down any day, as there is no crunching noise from feather quills. Sometimes feathers poke thru the cover, unlike down feather that will not. These were a great bargain, almost 2 for the price of 1, and they are nice and full and fluffy.... They fit in a queen sized pillow case and protector, but if you want them to be even firmer, stuff them in a standard size protector and case. I would buy these again. |
